We picked Abel up on Saturday, he was the last of his litter go but didn't make a peep on the drive home and we followed Honeys advice as laid out and it's really helped settle him in quickly and give us some ground rules to set us up for success. We've had no accidents in the house since we've been home and only one bad night where he wouldn't settle so far which is so much better than we were expecting.
He's calm, friendly and completely unfazed by pretty much everything so far (even our giant house cat who wants to be friends). Just like all the dogs that we witnessed under their care whilst visiting. The staff are excellent, knowledgeable and super friendly even whilst walking and training multiple dogs. I would highly recommend. We're so excited about watching him grow up |

Hi All,
Just thought I would update you all on Max's journey to become my assistant dog. We passed our puppy awards and yesterday we passed our bronze assistant award and assistant canine award. Which now means we get our jacket to wear out and about and can start to learn our mitigation tasks. He has turned into the most loyal, hard working and loving dog. I am getting the most amazing cuddles from him. He is such a beautiful dog. The amount of comments I get about him being a great specimen of Labrador. Greeting people is almost non jumping now so that’s positive. Here he is after he passed his puppy award in his uniform. Many many thanks for breeding me a great dog. |

Hi Honey, we just wanted to give you an update on our puppy 'Sadie', Cassey's litter. She has been with us just over a week and we can't believe how well she has settled. Sadie is toileting outside and sleeping well in her crate for roughly 7hrs. We followed your advice on crate training in the day, she can now settle for an hour. When we come back and look through the window she is happily sleeping on her bed. We are doing a little training, she knows her name but will occasionally ignore us which we are working on. She will sit when our cat comes in having learnt that it's not a good idea to run at him as you might get a swipe. She went to a puppy party which the vets organised for young puppies who had all had their first vaccination. She quite confident and outgoing.

Hi Honey! Just wanted to say a big thank you for everything to you and your colleagues. You've made the experience of getting our puppy a really good one and I couldn't be any happier. Honestly, I totally envy your jobs and I was really tempted to ask if you had any vacancies the first time i visited. Scout is doing great, he's been at the vets this morning for his vaccine and there were no issues. He's getting used to his new environment and had a really good first night at home. This is Echo's (milk) chocolate pup Kali 13 and a half weeks old. Kali had her first walks yesterday and loved them, she is bright and confident and lively. Kali loves meeting new people and dogs and playing and learning. Kali has done really well with her crate training only crying for 10 / 15 mins the first 2 nights and is sleeping 7 / 7.5 hours a night. I did follow all the advice given by Willowtimle regarding crate training and alone time and it has worked really well for us. We are so pleased with her and she's off to a great start, a massive thank you Willowtimle and especially Honey xx

This is just to let you know that Vic (Conan) had his vet check and jab yesterday and all is good, the vet was happy he was all healthy :) We have done the transfer of ownership, so he now officially signed over to us :) Thanks for all your advice at the handover, we’ve followed it and crate training is going well with no accidents or whining over night since night one! Hi Honey
A quick email to let you know how we are getting on with Hooper since collecting him at midday on Saturday 5th Nov. We have never had a dog so all of this is new to us. Hooper has never had a human so it’s all new to him too. We are all on a learning curve but thankfully our conversations with Tim and briefing with Lena before we left with Hooper were invaluable. We live about an hours drive from Willowtimle. We were advised to take Hooper home, let him settle in for an hour with some food and water, then lock him in his crate and go out for a walk for around 45mins or so. Then come back, open his crate immediately, and always leave it open while we are around, except overnight. Then later on do the same again, lock him in his crate and go out as before and if there is time do it again a few hours after. We did everything to the letter. At around 1130pm we locked Hooper in his crate and turned in. Hardly a whimper from Hooper. He was quiet all night. We came downstairs at around 5.30am, let Hooper straight out to the garden. He has been happy to be left in his crate every night and we have had no tantrums or problems at all. Total silence through the silent hours. The advice we were given was spot on. He has been with us for 5 days now and we are learning each other’s routines. We are not perfect yet with toilet training but progress is being made. Today Hooper saw the vet. The vet was particularly impressed with the info received from Willowtimle and the thorough vet report we were given to hand to our vet. He confirmed that Hooper is a very healthy little puppy. Hooper had his vaccinations and will go back again in four weeks for his next round of jabs. We continue to expose Hooper to new experiences, car journeys, toys, the garden, being carried on short walks and introductions to family members etc. We cannot thank Willowtimle enough for our fantastic new addition to our family and the great and accurate advice. Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how we’re getting on with Ted (Ruby Crumble). He is the most adorable puppy, he has a lovely cheeky personality but is also already very loving and cuddly. He has a great appetite and is feeding well, toilet training is going well and he’s already happy napping in his crate…sleeping overnight however is a bit hit and miss at the moment but it’s early days yet and we’re sticking with your advice.
He had his vets check and first injection today and the vet thought he was perfectly healthy. She was really grateful for the detailed information that you had provided about his worming / flea treatments etc to date – she said she wished all breeders provided the information that way. He then got lots of fuss and was passed around all the veterinary nurses and even the receptionist for a cuddle before we headed home. We’ve had so many comments already about what a beautiful pup he is. Thanks so much for letting us have one of your gorgeous pups and thanks also for all of the great advice provided to date. |

As promised, we’re letting you know how our little man is doing since he came to live with us on Friday. It's been a week since we picked up Bramble (Luna's pup) and she settled down very well in Portsmouth. Bramble's learnt sit, sleeps well at night and hasn't had any accidents inside for 5 days! Thank you Alan Long 05/07/22 Just to let you know Honey has settled in nicely. She goes into the cage my herself she has got to know way she goes to toilet. Just a few accident's. I let her out at ten in the evening she goes through until 7 o'clock. She is getting used to other dog (which have been vaccinated).I have started walking her around the garden on her slip lead a little bit twice a day, so far so good. |

I do hope all is well with you Thought you might like recent photos of Jess. She is a complete superstar & does all your training massive credit. Exactly as you said, so very chilled and content. Gets on fine with other dogs but no fuss. She obviously still had hormones when she arrived. And dogs would seek her out. But again, no problem at all. She barked to tell them “no” but not an ounce of aggression. And more often than not her bark worked a treat. I am delighted with her & we’ve having some great walks together. She has lost almost 3kg but that may be through her hormones finishing, bit less food & bit more walking. Thank you so much for allowing her to spend her retirement with me !! She is a gem & a real privilege to own 🐾🐾 |

We thought we would just give you an update on Lennie, he's now 5 months old and growing fast. He is a very handsome boy with a lovely kind temperament, he loves people and is always pleased to see visitors. He continues to sleep all through the night, as he has done since day one, and is always happy to greet you in the morning with a big lick and cuddle. He is best friends with our 13 year old German Short Haired Pointer and has given him a new lease of life since he lost his previous mate 14 year old Finn the chocolate lab. Lennon has brought so much fun and life back to the house, he is a typical lab, mischievous and does enjoy stealing the washing, shoes and digging out the plants. Lena and Tim have been so supportive throughout and we know that we can always message them with a quick question or to ask for some advice. It's lovely to know that their support is ongoing and doesn't just end the day you collect the pup. Thank you so much, we very highly recommend Lena, Tim and the Willowtimle team. I hope you are all well. I recently just turned 6 months old (from Maddie’s litter) and I am a very happy puppy living my best life! I am a bundle of energy and have filled a void in my Mum and Dad’s life and there is never a quiet moment in our house. Mum spends a lot of time training me and making sure that I learn good manners. My recall on the whistle is great if I do say so myself and I have learned the commands sit, stay, wait, look at me, give paw and on my bed (crate). Mum says that I have perfected the Labrador bum wiggle and cheeky grin when I come to say Hello. I always get lots of compliments from other humans saying what a lovely, friendly dog I am and they always comment on the colour of my coat. I absolutely love going on walks and I am very lucky to be surrounded by countryside. I really enjoy going over the fields and I can guarantee that I will always find some water and mud to jump in and I never come back clean. I love to play fetch and my favourite toy is a really annoying squeaky giraffe. I do sometimes get in to mischief and my favourite thing to do is to steal my Dads socks. I am going on another dog holiday later on this year to Wales with my best pal Nova and we can’t wait to run on the beach and go in the sea again.

Just a wee update on how Archie is getting on. He’s doing fabulously…… he’s now sleeping at least 8 hours overnight and actually takes himself to bed in his crate at around 11pm…. I have to drag him out for a final loo trip before we turn in ourselves 😂 We have the odd accident in the house but it’s usually because he’s a little over excited but in the whole he lets us know he needs to go out - the challenge is keeping him focused enough whilst he’s outside instead of being distracted by every leaf and blade of grass that moves 🙄 Everyone loves him, he’s a real character and is taking to his training pretty well. We are is going on our short walks and he just loves making friends with other dogs on our outings. He is a handsome boy and doesn’t gorge his food which is a complete contrast to our previous choccy who was a complete food monster! Ewing able to leave his food for him to graze throughout the day has worked a treat. All of your advice has been spot on and we are really pleased with his progress and although we’ve only had him 5 and a half weeks, it feels like he’s always been here…. So ‘Thank you’ Finally, to make you smile here is a sequence of photos of Archie and his curiosity with the Christmas decorations …… despite being discouraged from trying to ‘play’ with the snowman, he persisted and then ran away when it fell over …… the glitter face unfortunately was a dead giveaway ……! Just wanted to drop you an e mail to let you know all was well (as expected) with the vet check on Tuesday. We’ve called him Barley, and he’s been absolutely amazing so far. Hi guys,
Just wanted to drop you a message and let you know how well our pup is settling in! We’ve named her Nellie. She has slept like a log every single night, not even a peep out of her when we crate her and put her to bed. Same with when we go out in the day and crate her. She’s only been with us for 2 weeks and she’s already taking herself outside to the toilet. Her personality is really shining through now and we’ve had non stop comments on her temperament and many people saying she could be a therapy dog because she’s so calming and gentle. They obviously aren’t around when she’s got zoomies and having her mad 15 mins once she wakes up! Even the vet commented on how happy and confident she is. Her tail hasn’t been under once and she’s so confident exploring and being in new situations and seeing new things. She’s picking up commands and tricks really quickly, we’re a bit worried she’s going to outsmart us! Thank you so much for your help and advice, we couldn’t have asked for a better pup! We collected one of Rosie’s puppy’s last Thursday 29 July. We just wanted to let you know how she’s been getting on. We have called her Raven and from the moment we have bought her home, her tail has not stopped wagging! She is with our 10 year old Lab, Lola, who we got from you 10 years ago from Hetty. Raven loves to pull on Lola’s tail and wants to play with her. Lola will play for a bit but let’s her know when she’s had enough! Raven has settled in lovely. We have started the training from the moment we bought her home. Toilet training, we’re getting there but she is going outside on the sawdust to go to toilet. We couldn’t of asked for a nicer puppy. She is perfect. You really do breed top quality Labs and we will always recommend you to other people and you have such lovely customer service. I cannot fault you or Tim & your staff. Raven had her vet check today. The vet said she is a lovely strong healthy puppy. She had her first vaccination & goes back in two weeks for her second one. Here is a photo of both our girls. It only took 4 days to get this!!!! They just wouldn’t keep still! |

I just thought I'd give you a little update on our boy from Hetty's litter from August 2020.
Cooper is now almost 9 months old and it's like he has been with us forever. He settled in super quickly and made us a little family. We did puppy training on Zoom, almost as soon as we took him home, which really helped us learn the basics with him quickly. He is still quite shy around other people (lockdown life!) but now restrictions are easing I think he will get better with strangers 🙂 I'd like to add we would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone who wants a Labrador, even with coronavirus we were lucky enough to see still our boy grow up with his litter mates which was so lovely to watch. Henry (Willowtimle Pilot) has been home with us for 8 weeks now and from day 1 we couldn't imagine life without him. Thanks to the excellent advice from Tim and Lena, Henry has slept through each night and never dirtied his crate. Because of the pandemic we weren't able to visit Henry after he'd been born but Tim, Lena and the team kept us up to date with regular pictures and videos. Henry has a great temperament and gets on very well with our older Labrador. When Henry met the vet for the first time, the vet said the paperwork and pack we'd been given by the breeder was the best he'd ever seen and that Henry was an excellent pup. We are so lucky to have a Willowtimle puppy.

We have only had lovely Luna for 3 months but it feels like she has always been a part of the family. She is adorable: gentle and loving in the evenings and playful and mischievous in the daytime. She loves cuddling up to our daughters and playing football in the garden and park with us.
She is a fast learner and her training has been going very well. Like all Labradors she loves to eat, anything she can! She is the perfect first dog and is easily pleased just to follow us around or lie down where she can nuzzle into one of us. Having no real experience with dogs, Lena was a godsend. She was available for questions and advice prior to us collecting Luna and available for advice since bringing her home. In fact, Lena has checked in with us on a number of occasions herself to make sure Luna has settled well. Given the relative ease in which puppies are available on-line these days, the thing that impressed us the most and ultimately the reason we chose Lena and Tim was that they were as keen to know all about us and if we were a suitable family for Luna as we were about them. We were provided with all the background information on Luna and her family and even spent time with her lovely mother Barley. After my `old` girl, Skye, passed away in June I was ready to invite another puppy into our family. Researching through the Kennel Club website, I contacted Lena. I went with my son & a friend to view the litter & we were all impressed by the calm, clean, quiet & welcoming area where there were several dogs & a litter of puppies.
Lena welcomed us & chatted to us all before picking out the puppy that we had come to see – a black Labrador. We then were able to cuddle her, wander around, see the other dogs, including Mum to the puppy. The dad was not there that day but I did see him when I collected my pup. Needless to say I decided to make the pup mine. Lena was very organised & explained the whole process of purchasing, what injections were given to the pups before they left Mum, what they were being fed & when I could collect. Although I have had several Labradors, this was very helpful as it is 11 years since I had my last one! Mollie has settled in very well into my family & is great friends (most of the time) with my other Lab, Tia (11 years old). She desperately wants to be friends with my old cat but he has other ideas!! We live by the sea in Cornwall & Mollie has spent many an hour or 2 playing on the beach with other dogs, chasing a ball (or seagull!), digging & has no fear of the sea. Now 5 months old, Mollie has started a training course & we work daily on various exercises trying to teach her manners! I know I will have years of fun with Mollie & I am very pleased I found Lena & her team when looking for my next Labrador. I would highly recommend her to friends & family. Thanks very much. Ruth |

During the initial telephone conversation, we were invited, and strongly encouraged to visit Lena & Tim and their establishment.
When we visited Lena & Tim, all the bitches were energetic and very friendly towards us visiting strangers! The individual pens were secure, spacious and beautifully clean, as was the whole barn/yard. It was nice being able to spend some time in the presence of all the expectant mums, and then choose whichever mum we were naturally drawn to, and whichever mum likewise was drawn to us! So we chose a mum, who we'd quickly developed a bond with. Whilst waiting for the litter to be born, we were always welcome to visit Lena & Tim any time. We could also telephone them if we had any questions or concerns etc in the meantime. The litter had finally arrived, and we were invited to visit Lena & Tim a couple weeks later to choose our puppy! My daughter and I were shown to the litter of the mum we had chosen. A bundle of eight puppies were nestled together in the corner of their pen in deep wood shavings, all warm and cosy! But there were two puppies that had broken away from the huddle, and were exploring their pen, eyes still tightly closed! This one particular mischievous minky/pink coloured puppy stumbled in our direction. That was it, this was the one! It was a boy, which is what we ideally wanted. We were invited to visit our new found puppy as often as we were able to, before the collection date. Once again, we could telephone Lena & Tim whenever we wanted if we had any new concerns/questions, in advance of bringing him home. On the day of collection, Lena sat with us and went through all the various documents/paperwork, and made sure we were still happy to go ahead and take our new puppy home. We were provided with a Puppy Care Pack, and assurance that both Lena & Tim and the team were at the end of the telephone should we need 'any' help. This was very reassuring, as inexperienced first-timers! A year on,... We have the most loving, loyal, beautiful-natured boy and friend in Barley Junior (still with that mischievous streak of course!) He's gorgeous! In fact, several different people have stopped us whilst out on our walks to say how “handsome/beautiful” he is. Our local Dog Groomers say “he has one of the most adorable natures they've experienced” (from his very first visit, after a pretty bad experience elsewhere). This makes us very proud of him, and of course, his dear mum Barley! The level of care, commitment and dedication of Lena & Tim (& their staff) for all their dogs is very apparent. We have never felt like we were just simply customers, buying a commodity. Rather, we felt like we were joining a family. Even now, both Lena & Tim are still there supporting us. When we decided to have a labrador we were recommended by a friend to visit Willowtimle. Our black labrador Inca has been with the family for nearly 3 years and she has been an absolute joy. So much so we decided to add to "the pack" and we had no hesitation in returning to Willowtimle both on the account of the high quality of the breeding but also the professional manner of the kennels and the advice we received.
We brought Rebus home at Christmas time, 2018, and he has already enriched our lives further. We would recommend this kennels to anyone and as for ourselves we would not even think of looking anywhere else.

We are so happy with our dog, Poppy. From the first time we contacted Lena, we got the best support and advice. Lena was really helpful and allowed us to visit a few times, bringing friends and family along and was really communicative with us on important things like vet checks and Poppy's development. Lena was really organised, and advised us on how to help settle Poppy once we were home with her - it was also nice to know that Poppy was coming into contact with lots of noises, people and experiences in the first weeks of her life. Has been to vets. All clear health wise and has had her first course of injections/treatment. All good.
She is such a bundle of energy. Really need to get her injections finished so she can get out a bit more. She is also incredibly bright/intelligent. If you had said she would have made such progress with commands, toileting and settling into our routines as she has I would likely have been a little sceptical. She has even learnt how to creep up and untie my shoe laces without me being aware!!! The little monkey. I have to make sure I change to slippers now then. 😁😁
We have a session booked with a dog trainer on Monday so progress is gathering apace.
We love her to bits.

Dougie, our 11 week old yellow lab from Nancy's litter, is not only the most handsome Labrador (as everyone keeps telling us) but has such a loving personality and has settled in so well. We fell in love with Dougie as soon as we met me him for the first time when he was only 3 weeks old and we have grown an amazing relationship with him already. Thank you so much; What an amazing puppy! Kali was really calm on the journey home and has settled remarkably well in her new surroundings. She already seems well on the way to being house trained, she is indicating when she wants to go out, so far in 24 hours we have had only two accidents and both of them were down to us not being quick enough to let her out. She's absolutely brilliant. Her first night in her puppy crate was so straightforward we couldn't quite believe it. No crying at all and after a clean and quiet night went straight outside for a wee and a poo. What a clever girl! We have see our vet today and they have confirmed what we could already see, that she was perfectly healthy. She had her first jabs without even a whimper, so much easier than taking the kids for their vaccinations!!! Pet insurance is in place and Kennel Club registration and microchip transfer completed. When I knew the time had come to find a new puppy, I looked to the Kennel Club for Assured breeders. Having looked at the Willowtimle website and seen your dogs and read your testimonials, I emailed you and received a call within a very short time. I knew I had made a good choice. It was a real pleasure to talk and meet you both back in February. I was very impressed with your set up, clean and tidy, and loved meeting all your happy dogs. Thank you for fitting in our visits and helpful information. Well, my puppy Bailey, now 12 weeks old, is just a joy to be with. She is happy, energetic, affectionate and sometimes a mischief! A perfect fit for my home. She is loved by my sons and family, and my granddaughter, 18 months, just can't stop smiling and would want to curl up with Bailey in her crate if allowed (not yet). As you can see from the photos, (she is gorgeous) how she has grown. She has created a den under a shrub in the garden, which she lies in particularly on hot days. She loves her car carry case and will curl up in it during the day. I bought a (portable) puppy pen and take her to work with me two days a week, she is so well behaved. Thank you Lena and Tim for such a delightful and beautiful puppy. We have had Nala for 8 weeks now and I can't express how much she has enriched our lives in such a short time.
From the first day she came home with us she has been a joy. A wonderful, loving temperament, fun to be around and extremely quick to learn. Her recall is excellent and she comes and sits when asked. Nala was pretty much house trained within a few days and asked to be let out into the garden, and she slept through the night from 11 pm -6am after 3 weeks of being here. She has had many remarks of how well behaved and how pretty she is and her instagram page is very popular!! After plenty of research I decided to buy my puppy from Willowtimle Labrador assured breeders run by Lena and Tim, I couldn't have picked a better breeder. From the outset Lena and Tim answered all of my many questions, and believe me, I had loads. Both Lena and Tim were very knowledgable, professional, caring, down to earth, and I knew I had chosen well. I was invited to see Winnie (Nala's mum) during her pregnancy and then again after birth and two-three weekly until we picked Nala up at 8 weeks. First impressions are key and very importantly, Willowtimle was spotless and all the dogs there were happy and calm and extremely friendly, as were the staff working there. Just thought you would like an update on Lottie. What's super family pet she's turning out to be. She was very shy when we first started taking her out but quickly grew in confidence with other dogs and people . She has many friends that we often meet but also has a best friend,a 7 month old Cockapoo. They meet most days and roam through the fields and woods together. About a week ago she learned how to open the doors downstairs so she now has the run of the whole house during the day when we are in. She knows when we have to go out without her she has to go in her crate and makes her own way in there. Same at night. She's unbelievably good and so intelligent and affectionate. Our other two dogs adore her, and she is enjoying their company. It has been fascinating observing their body language, and how Indiza crouched down, whilst they smelt her and observed her. They are romping around our little fenced area, so playfully. Indiza likes to watch and then she joins in, and they are so gentle with her.
We are separating her from the other two, to also give her 1:1 training time with us, and calm play time outside her crate. She is settling well in her crate – cries for about ten minutes, but then calms and sleeps well. She has learnt to sit, and today we’ll be teaching her ‘look at me’.
She has already brought us so much joy - she is the best addition to our family.
We are so grateful to you both for all that you have done. We’ve been so impressed with all aspects of Indiza’s purchase, and feel incredibly fortunate to have found you.
Our vet is offering a puppy vaccination clinic on Saturday, so Indiza will be having her first jabs then. We’ll confirm this with you on Saturday afternoon.
You’ve both worked incredibly hard during the past few weeks to care for your lockdown puppies, and to safely deliver them to their homes. I’m sure all your clients must really appreciate your efforts.

Good morning Lena and Tim.
Thank you for such a wonderful pup, 'Kiri', she journeyed fairly well when we collected her and has settled in well. She has slept through every night without a murmur and has been clean indoors, so far! We have attached some pictures of her taken two days ago and thought you might like them. Here is an update on Monty as promised.
He's doing ever so well, sleeping right through the night in his crate with no fuss. We're up at 6.30am every morning and he is delighted to see us then! His toilet training is also going well, healthy stools with no hint of "relocation" diarrhoea and the in-house mishaps are fewer and fewer as every day goes by. He's enjoying the garden and this good weather has been brilliant for settling him in.
He's very keen to learn and a lovely little character! He's currently sleeping on my feet as I type this! :-)
I'll keep you posted and send some photos to Tim's mobile.

Hoping this is how we submit a testimonial but let us know if we need to send it somewhere else. Just wanted to thank you for our lovely Max and tell you what a wonderful little fellow he has turned out to be. He’s 13 weeks now and has settled in really well, doesn’t chew and is an absolute sweetheart . He has a really calm nature and learns so fast - he was the star of the show at his first puppy training class. Took him to our local pub today, nothing seems to faze him - we’re looking forward now to taking him out on our narrowboat for the first time and teaching him to play golf with us. Hi Lena and Tim
Pilot has settled in really well. I’ve attached some pics and a couple of super cute pics of his litter mates. He’s getting lots of play time and cuddles and he’s enjoying exploring. He’s so calm and loving and clever. He’s already sitting, for a treat of course, but he understands and he waits. He’s been brilliant at night, a little bit of middle of the night whining the first night but I think I worried that I couldn’t hear him more than he whined! And last night he didn’t whine until 6am. He’s doing brilliantly on house training, only twice in the house, everything else outside, fingers crossed he’ll keep it up. He had his first vet trip today which he did in his usual calm way, took it all in his stride. And the vet gave him the all clear. Thank you so much for all your help and advice, it’s so special for the kids (and us!) to have a puppy join our family and to come and see Pilot regularly before we brought him home was lovely. He’s currently snoozing with his head on my feet. We’re all pretty besotted (but don’t worry Tim, we’re being super strict, not even one sofa cuddle!). Thanks again, best wishes Jodie |
